QI Mountain View/Los Altos District 12, CA, USA
Even with her busy career in Real Estate at Coldwell Banker, Liz always finds time to volunteer! She attends every single function held by the clubs in the District and always has kind words and encouragement for the members. Ever since she started her “job” as District 12 Governor, Liz has been working tirelessly to help increasing connection among the clubs and is the first one to jump on any projects.
Liz is also working hard on building JQ clubs. She is currently working on helping some high school seniors to start their JQ clubs. During this past holiday season, Liz met with potential JQ club members at the parent’s home to discuss volunteering opportunity. She also helped out with the kids at Mountain View Community Service Agency to stock up their food pantry and did food distribution for their clients.
When she was first new at her job, QI of Alameda/Oakland lost their long-time Treasurer. Liz immediately started working on sorting out the club’s finances while the club’s President was unavailable due to medical reasons.
Liz is a talented Computer Science Engineer and also Mathematics Major. She is also an accomplished writer on series of “Happy About…” motivational books and has written over 30 books!
Liz is married to her husband, Frank, for over 20 years, and they have two grown sons.
Liz volunteers with enthusiasm and she works cheerfully regardless how big or small the work! I always remember her carrying a raffle basket, going down the aisle in her petite frame during our annual Fashion Show the last three years, trying to sell as many tickets as she could!
