Quota International of Massillon, Ohio selected Alison Blondheim as their 2012-2013 Volunteer of the Year. Alison has been a member of Quota since May of 2001. She has served her club as secretary back in 2003-2005 and then went on to serve as District 6 Secretary-Treasurer for 2005-2007. Alison is currently serving her second year as Vice-President of the Massillon Club. She has also served as Bylaws Chair for several years, and serves as Reservation Chair for the club ‘s annual Tour of Homes Luncheon Fundraiser and Princess Tea Party that raises funds for Quota’s Club to Club projects. She is a dedicated Quota member and is always ready to help where needed for all of our many service projects.
In addition to her volunteer service with Quota, Alison serves as a guardian to two senior citizens in our community through Guardian Support Services. She is active in her church serving as Clerk of the Session (church board), Budget chair of the Mission Committee, a Stephens Minister, and as an adult Sunday school teacher. She also serves on the nominating committee for her church’s area presbytery.
In addition to all of her volunteer work she continues to work two part-time positions with an area church as their administrator and as a bookkeeper for a music store. She has two stepchildren and four grandchildren and a German shepherd dog she loves to walk daily.
