2012-2013 International President Laura Lahman
November 20, 2012
As we celebrate Thanksgiving in America this week, and I know many of our Quota countries have the same or similar holidays, I wanted to express my gratitude to all of our members, worldwide, for the multitude of ways in which we reach out to help disadvantaged woman and children, as well as the deaf and hard of hearing. We only need to watch or listen to the news to know that the world needs Quota’s special kind of caring now more than ever!
Like each of you, I look forward to the next edition of the Quotarian in which many of our life-changing projects will be showcased along with our award-winning photographs.
At this time, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all of our new club organizers, and all of the clubs that have reached or exceeded the GIVE ME 5 membership goal. I would also like to thank those that accepted the challenge to mentor a JQ club. I am proud to report that we now have 37 JQ clubs! YOU know who you are, and SO DO WE! All of YOU have awed and inspired us.
As former U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “There are many ways of going FORWARD, but only one way of standing still,” and with your help and continued commitment, we are, and will, continue to do just that – GO FORWARD!
On behalf of the Board of Directors, please accept our sincerest appreciation for making development and growth a priority so that Quota can continue to bless mankind, always.
With many thanks,
2012-2013 International President
