Jean M Schulz — QI Bismarck-Mandan — Bismarck-Mandan, ND, USA
Date of Death: March 23, 2012
Jean M Schulz was born in Crystal, MN on April 2, 1951 and she passed away on March 23, 2012 at the age of 60. She graduated from Mandan High School in 1969. Jean worked for 34 years at a local bank before joining St. Alexius Medical Center in the Nurse Staffing Office. Jean left St. Alexius in 2009 after becoming disabled and moved to Edgewood Vista. She made many friends there and had a great time with all of them. Jean’s greatest pride was spending time with her daughter, Jennifer and her granddaughter, Breanna Jean. The time they shared was very special and will never be forgotten. Jean liked to cross-stitch and made some beautiful items. Jean also enjoyed a good game whether it was games like casino, Yahtzee or Mad Dog with family or Bunco with her Quota friends. Jean was always willing to help anyone who needed it. She joined Quota in 1999 and attended several district conferences. She helped make scarves and heart pillows for cancer patients. Jean loved the service projects and was often on the Service Committee. She will be remembered for her sweet disposition and the love for her family who were with her to the end. In her final days, Jean made a conscious decision not to undergo any further treatment and during that time, would often wake up in the hospital and say “Am I still here?” She looked forward to meeting her infant sister in heaven. Jean will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jennifer & Jeremy Ballensky and her very loved granddaughter, Breanna Jean Ballensky, Mandan; her very rambunctious family of 7 brothers, 2 sisters, as well as all her Quotarian sisters. Blessed be the name of Jean Schulz.
