Quota International of Kolkata, India
This photo was taken at the Kolkata club’s School for Street Children during a recent visit by International President Chris Tracey-Patte and South Pacific Area Liaison Beris Pritchard. The school has a day care for about 25 children who are given meals, and are supervised while their mothers are at work. The 6-8 year olds come after class and are given lessons while they wait for their mothers to finish work. All were dressed in uniform which they change into when they arrive at the school. QI Kolkata has provided the day care with toys and dolls for the children to play with, and they are trying to get computers for the school that the children can learn to use while there.
