Mary L. Bolling
Quota International of Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
Mary L. Bolling has been a member of Quota International of Greensboro, NC, since 1978. Service above self has always been her motto. Mary has held every office in the club, has served on most of the committees, served as district secretary, and chaired a District Conference. She has committed herself to find new sources of income for the club in order to expand the club’s service projects.
Mary’s selfless volunteer experiences have been very rewarding to her, but more so have been very rewarding to our community. She has been a volunteer at Wesley Long Hospital for over 16 years, served on committees with the American Cancer Society, volunteered with Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, served as board chair of the Better Business Bureau of Central NC, worked with the Greater Greensboro Open golf tournament, volunteered with Summit House, served on the board of Share A Home, and has donated over 6 gallons of blood to the Red Cross. More recently, she has worked with Hot Dish and Hope at First Presbyterian Church where she prepares and serves meals to the hungry. She also volunteers at the church’s Free Dental Clinic. Last year she became the Mobile Meals Coordinator at the church.
Mary is truly an embodiment of the spirit of volunteerism.
