When some historic houses in Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia, needed a bit of TLC, the local Quota club stepped in with a GREAT IDEA for club service.
Quota members met weekly to wash, dust, polish, and shine the old Eskbank House until it was restored to grandeur. “It was good for us all,” noted Past Club President Pam Kerrison. “Each week lots of fun and laughter could be heard. And we always finished with chicken rolls, coffee, and cake—and sometimes a bottle of wine!”
The lovely old manor was reopened to the public when Quota’s job was done.
